If any of you ever used the Beats Mode on E-mu hardware like the Proteus 2000/ 1000 family or the Command Stations, you'll immediately get the idea. I'm always scouring the internet and music magazines for mdi programs. I've never found the melodist or soloist that compelling. What I've long wanted is a way to easily set up licks, riffs and phrases that I can then transpose by key and scale to tastely accompany the basic rhythm and core instrumentation of BIAB. BIAB provides the white bread and baloney for the sandwich, but none of the condiments to get Dagwood excited. It offers the promise that I and other see in RapidComposer as repository of melodic phrases and/ or arrangements.
